Doing no harm means that I will be aware of my actions so that what I do, what I say, and even my silence will not hurt another of God’s children or any part of God’s creation.
do good…
Doing good is part of God’s invitation to follow Jesus, and it is something we can do. I can choose to extend hospitality and goodness to everyone. This is part of loving God and loving neighbor.
maintain a spiritual life…
Something in each of us knows there is more to this life than the physical world. We know there is a spiritual part to us and to all of Creation. Keeping up a spiritual life means recognizing and responding to this, seeking to deepen that part of ourselves.
